Saxophonist and composer Biggi Vinkeloe lives in Sweden and tours frequently in Europe and North America. She plays alto saxophone and flute as her main instruments. She is one of the very few jazz women working internationally. She is involved in many different projects, both as a sideman and as a leader. Whenever possible she collaborates with dancers and painters. She has recorded almost 20 albums with both European and American musicians. Some collaborators include Barre Phillips, Peter Kowald, Cecil Taylor, Gianni Gebbia, Lotte Anker, Sylvie Degiez, and Harris Eisenstadt. She has worked with choreographers such as Inka Tiitinen (Finland), Katie Duck (Netherlands), Carmen Olsson (Spain), and with visual artists Jake Tilson (Great Britain), Ebbe Pettersson (Spain), and Gilda Previn (USA).
